About Deb O’Bannon:
For 20 years, Deb O’Bannon has taught civil and mechanical engineering at the University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC). She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from MIT, a Master of Engineering degree in Environmental Engineering from Manhattan College in New York and a Ph.D. in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Iowa. She is a fellow of the American Society of Civil Engineers, and a fellow of the Society of Women Engineers.
O’Bannon is involved in several Kansas City-area water projects, such as a U.S. Environmental Protection Agency-supported green solutions project and the City of Kansas City, Missouri’s Wet Weather Solutions Program.
