Alumni organizations provide an instant network for their members, provide social opportunities, and keep you informed of developments in your field. Alumni also contribute to our academic mission in many ways. Graduates of both our computer science and engineering programs provide SCE invaluable support. Alumni help our school maintain ties with local and national industries. They provide feedback about industry expectations of engineering and computer science programs which is used during curriculum review cycles to help SCE ensure its programs cover the skills industries need. Alumni also support scholarship fundraising, positively promote both SCE and UMKC, and actively participate in many of the school’s activities.

Alumni Achievement Award
To acknowledge the contributions SCE alumni make each year, the annual Alumni Achievement Award is given to one alumnus who has achieved notable success in his or her professional field and rendered outstanding service to the community.
