Mid-Continent Regional ASCE Student Steel Bridge Competition
1^st Place Overall
The UMKC ASCE Steel Bridge Team scored 1st Place Overall, 2nd Place went to K-State, and 3rd Place went to Missouri S&T. The scores of 1^st place in the categories of economy, stiffness, construction speed, efficiency, and aesthetics; and 2^nd place in the category of lightness are outstanding across a field of 11 other teams which included Missouri S&T, University of Missouri - Columbia, K-State, and University of Kansas.

7^th Place Overall
Scored a ^7th Place Overall out of 42 teams that attended the competition. Our best result was in the Stiffness category in which we placed 1^st.

21^th Place Overall
Scored a 21^th Place Overall out of 43 teams that attended the competition. Our best result was in the Economy category in which we placed 15^th.

The scores of 1^st place in the categories of economy, stiffness, and construction speed, 2^nd place in the categories of efficiency and weight, and 3^rd place in the category of aesthetics are outstanding across a field of 12 other teams which included UMR, MU, K-State, Washington University and University of Kansas.
