First Place in Stiffness at Nationals
The UMKC ASCE Steel Bridge Team scored 1st Place in Stiffness at the annual National Steel Bridge Competition, and placed 7th Overall. This was our best year yet and let work to improve upon this for the next year.
First Place at Regional'sFor the THIRD time in a row, UMKC's Steel bridge team has won First Place at Regional's which were held at University of Arkansas on April 16-19, 2008.

- 4-Arkansas
- 5-Southern Illinois-Edwardsville
- 6-Missouri-Columbia
- 7-Kansas
- 8-Nebraska-Omaha

- 9-Nebraska Lincoln - DQ
